Watercolor Artist
I love watercolor! I left the
field of education to devote full time to this midlife discovery
of painting places in the heart.

Mission - Close Up
Letting the "water do the
work" is my motto when painting and I thrill at the mixing
of pigments wet into wet right on the paper.
I've learned to move easily
from impressionism to realism with lots of practice and strive
to capture images with a shout or whisper, whatever the mood
calls for.

Puerta Vallarta
I've grown professionally by
joining the Arizona Watercolor Association, entering juried
shows, painting commissions and continuing my education. Inspiring
instructors Ina Mae Moore, Dick Phillips and Diane Maxey remind
me of the wealth available to all who choose to explore this
medium.
Watercolor lends itself so well
to the subjects I hold dear...The desert, animals and landmarks
of Arizona.

Hibiscus
Traveling to far away places
inspire permanent keepsakes as memories. Along with my new found
vocation I've discovered a mission...That is to inspire you
to follow your heart and find whatever it is that "sends"
you and then just do it!
